Ardmore Music Hall is one of the first venues in the country to produce live, audience-free concerts available for streaming during the pandemic. One such concert is being held on August 14, 2020. It will feature Nick Perri & The Underground Thieves. This very exciting Philadelphia based group is on the verge of making it big and you will be able to see why by getting a “Virtual Front Access” via Zoom. While the show is free, you can really help keep the music alive by making a donation. All the donations will be split between the Ardmore Music Hall staff and the band. One of the nicest places to see a concert is the Sellersville Theater. They are featuring livestreaming with their Soundbooth Sessions, which feature a concert and conversation with an artist, either live on our stage or from their home over the internet. You can support both the artists and our venue by paying what you wish while you watch. Contact the Sellersville Theater for more details.
The outstanding people who do such a great job of running the Sellersville Theater have gone a step further to help not only themselves, but the performers afloat during this crisis. They have been very active in joining with other similar venues in lobbying for support from Congress. As the result of their efforts the Group called The National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) helped push the introduction of the bi-partisan bill called SAVE OUR STAGES ACT. The bill was introduced by Senator John Cormyn (R TX) and Senator Amy Klobuchar (D MN). A similar bill will be introduced in Congress after the August recess. Show your support by contacting your local congress person and senator here: https://www.saveourstages.com/. More than a million e-mails have been sent to Congress urging the lawmakers to pass the bill. Your support for the bill that will directly help venues like The Sellersville Theater, The Ardmore Music Hall and some 2,000 other such venues across the country.
